  • Membership Changes
Over the past several months the Officers and Directors of the Board of Directors have been reassessing how Pioneer should adapt to the recent unprecedented influx of applications for membership to Pioneer. The results of our reassessment are summarized below and described in more detail in the Joining Pioneer section of the Pioneer website.

For new members seeking to use Pioneer’s archery facilities only, the new member orientation process remains largely the same. For new members seeking to use Pioneer’s firearm ranges, however, the orientation process has been revised. In addition to attending Pioneer’s new member orientation, Pioneer is requiring that all applicants for membership provide proof of attending a basic firearm safety course (with range time), attend a second orientation where their safe firearm handling skills are assessed, and where they receive detailed instruction regarding Pioneer specific range rules.

Additionally, Pioneer has instituted a membership cap. Given the number of existing Pioneer members, and the number of new member applicants that have already completed Part 1 of their orientation, we are likely to reach Pioneer’s cap in May or early June of this year. Any new member applicant that has not already attended their initial orientation are on Pioneer’s waitlist, and any additional applications received will be time-stamped and also placed on the wait list.

Lastly, all current Pioneer members should also take note that their annual membership will expire on October 2, 2013, and that in order to continue their membership they should renew their membership at Pioneer’s annual meeting on October 2, 2013, or before December 31, 2013. Be advised that any current member not renewing by December 31, 2013 will need to re-apply for membership and will be subject to all of the requirements of new members, including a NH Department of Safety background check, and the new member orientation process.

  • IDPA Results Posted
Thank you to everyone who came out to shoot at our first IDPA match of the season!
The preliminary results are posted at the bottom of the IDPA page in PDF form. Additional and more detailed results will be released later. Unfortunately, we had to discard stage 1 due to prop failure: we had to replace the clamshell with a static target and a pepper popper. I do have an unpublished pdf with the match results with stage 1: email us, if you'd like a copy.

Thank you all and we hope to see you all next time! Photo's are also posted on the facebook page thanks to Carol Lane! PHOTOS
