Some important reminders if you are planning to go to the Outdoor Archer's Cup....
1.  Re-read your Outdoor Information Pack as it is full of great info for outdoor events
2.  If you have a pop-up shade structure...bring it!  It is a long weekend if you do not have any shade or rain protection!
3.  All of our veteran outdoor archers will tell you that a wagon is a must!  There is usually a lot to carry....tent, cooler, chairs, archery equipment, bags etc and usually a long way to walk to the field....the wagon is a great investment! Dick's have them on sale at the moment.....
4.  Official practice starts at 8:00am both days.....scoring will begin at 9:00am.....you do not get two practice ends at 9:00am.  Arrive early 7:00am-7:30am to set up equipment, stretch and register and be ready to shoot at 8:00am to maximize your practice time.

Pioneer Sportsmen Inc.
Pioneer offers a well lit and heated 32’ by 100’ “Leon Gilman Archery Center” allows us 12 shooting spots at a maximum range of 25 meters. Our 14 target field archery course is an easy walk on the 44 wooded acres owned by Pioneer Sportsmen Inc. For outdoor target archery we have a range with a maximum shooting distance of 70 meters. Practice targets are next to the clubs main building with shooting distances from 20 to 50 yards. There is a tree stand for the avid hunters to use for sighting in(See the safety note at the bottom of the page). We also have 3D lanes, during the summer months 3D targets may be set up for practice.
During the winter months,  we have our indoor league on Thursday evenings. The rest of time the facility is available for members to come and shoot at their leisure. Each member is given a key to both of Pioneer Sportsmen’s buildings as well as the gate to the outdoor gun ranges.

The Officers and Directors have designed Pioneer Sportsmen’s facility so that all of our shooting sports disciplines can be enjoyed at the same time safely. It is not unusual to have people shooting field archery, practicing on the 70 meter outdoor range, and sighting in on the practice targets, while the monthly IDPA and Steel Silhouette matches are taking place.

Pioneer Sportsmen is a member of : USA Archery and the National Field Archery Association and is affiliated with NHBowmen. Visit NHBowmen on Facebook.

Note: Field Points ONLY are to be used on All Archery Ranges. However, from August 1st to Dec 31 each year broadheads may be used ONLY on the Raised Platform/Treestand Range. (As Per the BOD 8/20/2012) Shoot Safe!
